When renting the MMoCA Sculpture Garden for your wedding, you have one flat fee (includes staffing, security, custodial, vendor coordination): Ceremony and Reception, which includes a cocktail hour in lobby between events while staff "flips" the space. Ceremony-and Reception events can take place between 5-11 pm This rental fee does not include a $250 Langer Society membership, which is required to rent space at MMoCA. MMoCA can accommodate up to 230 guests for a wedding ceremony, 80 guests for a formal, sit-down dinner, and up to 175 for an informal reception, featuring food stations and passed appetizers. Fresco is the museum’s exclusive caterer, specializing in American Contemporary cuisine. Wedding ceremonies can take place anytime from 10:00am to 2:30pm on Saturdays (there is more flexibility on Friday and Sundays). The rental cost plus a $250 Langer Society membership, which is required to rent space at MMoCA. Please note: there is a discount available for ceremonies held Sun-Thursday, or outside of the peak wedding season (November-April). Ceremony rentals are for events lasting up to 2 hours (not including time for set-up), so many couples choose to have a cocktail hour or champagne toast following the ceremony. Chairs are $3 each and rented separately, through fresco, and fresco can also assist with other equipment rental needs (such as tables, linens, AV equipment, etc). Fresco is also your contact for beverage options if you decide upon a cocktail hour or champagne toast. MMoCA can accommodate up to 230 guests for a ceremony and we never take on more than one wedding or major event at a time. We pride ourselves on the flexibility this offers for you to craft exactly the unique experience you want. This also makes switching spaces for less than ideal weather incredibly easy. Our lecture hall is automatically held as a backup in case of inclement weather. Renting space at MMoCA is one of the many benefits offered to museum members. After you two enjoy your lunch, I'll personally show you our Willamette Room, and go over our all of our wedding packages, and am available to answer any questions you may have. This is a great chance for you to relax and enjoy a well-deserved treat! I look forward to hearing back from you so I can arrange your free lunch! We have several different options for both ceremony and reception. The most basic is the Willamette Room. The fee for the room is $250.00, which includes setup, clean up, white table linens, brown linen napkins folded to your preference, and all of your dinnerware. There is a $50.00 fee for the private bar, and we provide your licensed bartender. There is a 30 person minimum, and I can seat 125 guests comfortably. We are also, booking ceremonies and reception in the upstairs portion of the restaurant and on the deck. The packages for these spaces vary depending on what you want! You can find our menu options on our website, click on banquets, scroll down and click on informational packet. This will bring up our menu options that are priced per person. We can mix and match or even create something totally unique to you! There is an 18% gratuity on the whole bill, which covers not only your server, but those behind the scenes.
