The crater is roughly 20 km/12 mi wide and 600 m/2,000 ft deep, once you’ve reached the top of the caldera it takes about 45 minutes to descend to the crater floor. The floor is home to a rich and highly concentrated wildlife. Some 20,000 mammals of size live there, including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see the rhino. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards may be seen with some good luck. Well, imagine being personally driven around this mystical land's most alluring sites. Actually, imagine no more, it's all about to happen. Taking off on a journey alone? Have no fear. Here are the safest, your friendly country Morocco for your solo adventure.  1st Day : Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga : Departure from Fes at 8 o'clock, travelling via Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in the forest of the Middle Atlas.And Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. Lunch is in Midelt, “the apple capital”. We continue over the Tizi-n-Talgoumt pass and through the Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. All along the road there are innumerable “ksars”, small villages of individual houses. From here we reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils, and to the famous Dunes of Erg chebbi, After a welcoming glass of tea in a Guest House near the dunes, you can take a walking in the dunes. And then sunset from the top of the dunes is spectacular (250m) and afterwards there is dinner and night in Guest House.  2nd Day: Merzouga - Khamlia - Erg Chebbi : Today we will explore the desert region. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad's way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit to the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch. In the afternoon you will prepare for departure on the camels. Once at the bivouac, you take a camel ride to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. Back at the bivouac, dinner and overnight in tents at the camp.  3rd Day: Merzouga - Toudgha Gorges - Dades Canyon : If you wake up early, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast you can walk in the dunes before leaving for the Toudgha gorges for lunch. The road passes through Tinjdad and the Toudgha Valley. Here there are plenty of opportunities to walk, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorges. Later the itinerary continues to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges for the night inside the big canyon of Dades (Guest House).  4th Day: Dades Gorge - Boutaghrar Piste - Skoura - Ouarzazate : After breakfast a walk in the Dades Gorges is scheduled. Back to the car, the trip to Ouarzazate continues, going off-road along the Boutaghrar piste and Iat Mraou Village to visit Berber nomads in their caves and partake of a glass of herbs tea with them. From here we continue through the Valley of the Roses, famous for its Rose Festival in 20th to 25th of May, and past the kasbahs of Amridil in Skoura Palm, continue to Ouarzazate via the big lake of El Mansour Edahbi, Dinner and night in a traditional Riad .  5th Day : Ouarzazate – Ksar Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet Kasbah – Marrakech : After breakfast, the route goes on to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site and the backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters. It is the most famous Ksar in Morocco. From there the road continues to Telouet, along the new asphalted road. Telouet is set right in the midst of the mountains and was once the seat of the last Pasha of Marrakesh, El Glaoui, from where the highest pass in Africa, Tizi-n-Tichka was controlled. We continue deeper into the desert landscape, until the dunes appear in the middle of nowhere. In the afternoon you will prepare for departure on the camels. Once at the bivouac, you take a camel ride to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. Arrive at the bivouac, dinner and fire with Berber Folklore. Dinner & Overnight in tents at the camp . 4th Day : Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) – Rissani – Draa Valley - Ouarzazate : Early morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast in the camp the camel trek back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower. We drive to Rissani, a small Saharan town in southeast of Morocco; here we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we continue to Agdez and Draa valley junction where we head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the 'Great Migration', over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in Ngorongoro Crater we will drive to Panorama campsite for dinner and overnight. Day 7 Lake Manyara lake to Arusha After breakfast the journey continues to the village of MtowaMbu near Lake Manyara. Over the years the village has attracted people from various ethnic groups and the wide variety of backgrounds and ethnicities has created a multicultural atmosphere in MtowaMbu. After a short briefing your guide will take you on a walk through the village and its surroundings. From banana plantations to rice fields, from the local medicine man to the local brewery, from the paint and woodcraft workshop to the local school – the village walk gives you an insight into the daily village life. Lunch is prepared by a communal women’s group and served at a local compound. It consists of a wide variety of African dishes, giving you the opportunity to taste the traditional food. After this wonderful experience you will visit the Lake Manyara National Park. The protected area encloses a large part of the alkaline lake of the same name. This amazing lake is the seasonal home of a giant flamingo colony and many more waterfowls. On the lakeshore, you can also observe elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes. Furthermore the park is well known for its “tree climbing lions”. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. Soon, the higher lands are reached and a wonderful view of the Maasai Plains and the Lake Manyara opens up before you. Photo stops will be taken and you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views.
