DAY 01: ARRIVAL HA NOI (-/-/-) You will land at Noi Bai Airport in Ha Noi city. You will be warmly welcomed by car driver at the airport and the transferred to your hotel for check-in in Ha Noi city. Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel DAY 02: HA NOI DAY TRIP(B/L/-) Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting - place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake. Then visit Bat Trang pottery village. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – It is gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. At the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you will then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Come back hotel in Ha Noi and free time in the evening. DAY 03: DAY TRIP TO HA LONG (B/L/-) You will be picked up at your hotel and then driven to Ha Long Bay. You will have a short break on the half way before arriving Halong tourist wharf. You will board a private boat and cruise through the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Cock Fighting - the islet is situated on the south - west side of Ha Long Bay, about 6 km from the tourist wharf near to Ðinh Huong Islet. In a somewhat huge expanse of the ocean, the island seems to grow up from the bottom of the deep emerald waters. Dinh Huong Islet comprises only one huge stone. When the tide is low, tourists can see its four pins underneath. The islet is in the shape of an incense burner in the middle of the sea. In the majestic setting of sea and islands, Dinh Huong Islet seems like a holy symbol dedicated to national heroes who died to protect the country. You will also visit Thien Cung Cave and Dau Go Cave. A visit to Thien Cung starts from the crowded dock area where wooden walkways lead to steep stairs going up to the mouth of the cave - just a short walk. The interior is a cavernous space, with hokey circus lighting, lots of big rock formations and the usual interpretive names. Taking around 30 - 45 minutes kayaking around the islands and water tunnels to feel more deeply the charm of the place that considered the heaven on earth. You will return to Halong tourist wharf and take the bus back to Hanoi. Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel. . DAY 04: HA NOI - HOA LU - TAM COC - HA NOI (B/L/-) Our tour guide pick you up at your hotel and depart to Hoa Lu. Driving 100 km & will take about 2 hours driving. On the way, you have good chances to view the landscapes along the road. Arrive in Ninh Binh province at 10.30, and then the guide take you to visit Hoa Lu, ancient capital of Vietnam from 10 century. Having lunch at local restaurant near Tam Coc. After lunch, take small boats to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known “Three Caves”. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the boat leave the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with a white beard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. After that the guide takes you to the Second Cave and the Third Cave. Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel DAY 05: HA NOI - SAPA - HAM RONG (B/L/D) Our car and tourguide will pick you up at the meeting point then depart to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel, have lunch. You will begin the trek up Ham Rong Mountain. There are several well tended flower gardens along the way. Going through two Heaven Gates, you will get the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Up here, you will have a sensational specticular view of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, including Vietnam’s highest peak Mount Fanxipan. This is an enjoyable outing, but it’s not the north face of Everest so you will go down in time for dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight at hotel in Sapa. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market which is one of unique cultures of ethnic minorities HMong, Dazo in Lao Cai in particular and North West of Vietnam in general. DAY 06: CAT CAT - HA NOI (B/L/-) After breakfast, you will start trekking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Coming here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. After that, you will go back to hotel to check out and be on time for lunch.Then you free time to explore Sapa town or go shopping at Sapa Market. We are a rural tourism company that offers lodges for honeymoones. Each lodge has the capacity for two people (36 square meters). Next we’ll explore Moray – a mysterious complex of massive amphitheaters of incredible engineering precision and stern, magnificent beauty. Then an easy stroll (or ride in the bus if you prefer), through rolling farmland and views of the high Andes, brings us to Salineras – a surreal and beautiful patchwork of pools and paths that still produces salt using Inca technology and is our favourite site in the Cusco region. The differences become more and more obvious as we descend from the icy high pass of Abra Malaga (4,350 meters/14,000 feet), all the way down to the steamy heat of the ceja de selva (“eyebrow of the jungle”). Our destination, sleepy Santa Teresa (1,550 meters/5,085 feet), is home to one of our favorite places in Peru, the Baños Termales de Cocalmayo, natural mountain hot springs beside a raging river. It’s the perfect place to soak away the road dust of today’s journey from one side of the Andes to the other. If you’re into biking, you might want to ride some or all of the day’s long descent to the high jungle – it’s an incredibly fun, freewheeling, downhill and is suitable for anyone who can ride a bike. The hike begins in the Sacred Valley as we follow the Urubamba River, climbing ever higher and eventually heading off up the Cusicacha Valley, through semi-arid forest and farming villages, to Wayllabamba, where we’ll camp for the night. For the next couple of days, they’ll open their homes and lives to you, giving you a unique insight into traditional Andean life. Later we’ll try our hand at pottery-making – the people of Raqchi are professional potters and will show us how to make a pot on a pedal-powered potter’s wheel. We’ll also have the privilege of attending a ch’alla (payment to the Earth) – a ceremony of propitiation of Pacha Mama (Mother Earth) held regularly by an ostensibly Catholic community, and a very good example of the paradox at the heart of Andean religion. Accommodation: Raqchi homestay Meals: All meals included Day 10: Welcome to the Altiplano This morning we’ll explore the enormous adobe ruin that dwarfs the humble homes of Raqchi, before heading off into the altiplano - one of the highest inhabited places on Earth, and home to some of its most unlikely attractions. We’ll take the plunge at Marangani: a surreal and improbable complex of five natural hot pools linked by steaming streams and populated by locals enjoying the only hot water for miles around. We’ll spend the night at a historic hacienda. Established as a convent in the 18th century, it’s now home to a dairy farm where we’ll have the opportunity to sample delicious high-altitude cheese and yoghurt. Once one of the richest towns in Peru, it’s now all but a ghost town, making the grandeur and scale of its cathedral all the more striking. Impressive from the outside, inside the cathedral is simply incredible. Among many other marvels, it houses a catacomb, a collection of skulls and skeletons, and a full-scale reproduction of Michelangelo’s Pietá. We’ll arrive to the shores of Lake Titicaca in time for a memorable dinner at one of Puno’s excellent restaurants. Past it lies a land of ancient burial monuments dedicated to dwarves, half-buried ruins drowsing in farmers’ fields, and layer upon layer of human history and belief, built up over thousands of years: it’s one of the weirdest and most wonderful places in the world and today we’ll take our pick from many strange sights. Amaru Meru is said to be a stone-carved door into another dimension. Even if interdimensional portals aren’t your thing, you’ll enjoy the windswept majesty, imposing rock formations, and views of Lake Titicaca around it. We’ll also visit Chucuito, where 86 huge stone phalluses are buried every which way in what is said to be an Inca fertility temple – though some locals passionately argue it’s a hoax. We’ll stop briefly at the Uros – the famous floating reed islands of Lake Titicaca – but our main destination is Taquile, one of the most fascinating islands in the world. It was isolated until the 1950s and still follows a very different way of life. Decisions are communal, economic activity is co-operative, and society is based on the fundamental Inca principles:  "Ama sua, ama llulla, ama quella" (don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t be lazy). There are no cars, few dogs, and little electricity, because the Taquileños want it that way. Taquile is also the most famous textile centre in the Andes. Colorful, storytelling textiles, designed and woven by Taquile’s women from thread spun by its men, draw aficionados and investigators from all over the world to this amazing island. On top of all this, the scenery is stunning and the peace and tranquility is like nowhere else on Earth. Taquile is just magic. Next is Moray – three massive Inca amphitheaters of incredible engineering precision and stern, magnificent beauty. Then an easy stroll (or ride in the bus if you prefer) through rolling farmland and views of the high Andes brings us to Salineras – a surreal and beautiful patchwork of pools and paths that still produces salt using Inca technology. Later we’ll catch the train to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll spend the night. A spectacular stone city surrounded by incredibly steep, incredibly green mountains, Machu Picchu needs no introduction and is deservedly one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. A guided tour is a necessary start to orient you in this massive site, then you’ll have plenty of time to explore the stone complex and some of the surrounding peaks on your own before we catch the train back to Cusco. We are a rural tourism company that offers lodges for honeymoones. Each lodge has the capacity for two people (36 square meters). It has a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and outside space. The lodges are located next to Historical Village of Piodão and near Serra da Estrela in the center of Portugal. This package includes a stay for two persons in one of the lodges for five nights (Possibility of changing the number of nights). Meals or other services are not included. The value only refers to the stay. The amount must be paid in full by bank transfer at the time of hiring. Rate of 21% government tax is inclusive. Cancelation with refund is possible until 14 days before chech-in, after that or no shows the full amout will be charged. Check in between 16h and 19h and check out is until 12h.
