An authentic Balinese style set in lush tropical gardens with privacy and tranquility. Inside, there’s a state of the art gourmet kitchen and spacious open-plan living area, with satellite TV, a DVD home theater system and free wi-fi among the many contemporary features.

Karma Kandara operating hours:
di Mare Restaurant : 07:00 AM – 11:00 PM Monday to Sunday
Temple Lounge : 07:00 AM – 11:00 PM Monday to Sunday
Karma Beach : 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM Monday to Sunday
Can be open until late, with a maximum of 3 hours extension. This is subject to prior booking before the night of the wedding event / function.
Wedding reception duration
All wedding receptions are based on a maximum 5 hour duration.
**If you wish to extend your wedding reception, a USD $500++ per hour fee applies**
All amplified music must cease by 11:00 PM in the di Mare Restaurant, Villas and Temple Lounge & music will be adjusted throughout the event to ensure we accommodate for all in-house guests.
The agreement may be modified if the amendment is submitted in writing and is agreed and signed by both parties.
The hosting party is responsible for any property damage to the premises during their scheduled event. All items brought in by the hosting party and/or guests must be removed at the conclusion of the event. Karma Kandara Resort is not responsible for any loss or damage to property or personal possessions whilst on the premises.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Karma Kandara Resort, its owner(s), respective employees and agents against all claims, losses or damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fine, and costs (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or connected with your function, except those claims arising out of the negligence or willful misconduct of the venue.
The parties agree in this event that any dispute arises in any way relating to or arising out of this contract, the prevailing party in any arbitration or court proceedings will be entitled to recover an award of its reasonable
Wet weather & acts of God
The client hereby understands that all Karma Kandara venues are held outdoors and in the event of rain; there will be no contingency plan available. The Events Manager will organise to the best of their ability to advise on the date to attempt to try and avoid any heavy rainfall. Karma Kandara recommends a rain stopper for your event and will be charged at the rate of USD 200++ per event, however Karma Kandara resorts will not guarantee this will prevent wet weather. If in the event it rains and the client has organised a rain stopper; 50% of the rain stopper fee will be refunded to the client. No payments for the event organisation will be refunded.
Fire Lanterns are permitted however they are subject to weather conditions on the night. All Karma Kandara Managers reserve the right to refuse the use of fire lanterns if there is any indication they may cause injury to any persons or damage to the resort. The Manager on site’s decision is final and is conjunction with the local government regulations.
a) A contribution to the village, the Banjar of Ungasan, is mandatory according to local government regulations for festivities at USD 200++ per event.
b) Hair and make-up, wedding photography, flower arrangements can be provided by outside suppliers with an external supplier fee of USD 100++. Specific ‘load-in’ and ‘load-out’ times for the resort apply the events
team will advise the load times allocated for your wedding. Karma Beach special load in and load out times apply strictly 10PM-10AM only. To load in and out of Karma Beach outside of these times must have approval from Karma Kandara and a penalty of USD 500++ applies. Food & Beverages are only to be supplied by Karma Kandara and cannot be provided by any other party except for Wedding Cakes (see section ‘e’ of point 9).
c) Food tasting of the selected wedding dinner menu is free of charge for the bride and groom only, after the client has paid the 50% deposit of the current total bill.
d) Children under 12 years of age are charge at 50% of adult package rate.
e) Unless otherwise stated, wedding cakes are provided by Karma Kandara’s preferred cake supplier and Karma will charge the cake price to the client.
Cake tastings can be arranged through Karma Kandara and are based on availability of delivery by the supplier. If you wish to bring your own cake, there will be a handling fee of USD 3.50++ per person.
f) Event planners / outside decorations are to be consulted with the Karma Kandara Management Team & reserve the right to refuse any decoration that will cause injury to any persons and/or damage to the resort property, an external supplier fee of USD 250++
g) Special reduced package rate of USD 35++ for crew meals (main course and soft drinks).
Booking confirmation & Payment policy
a) In order to reserve and confirm a function or wedding venue and date, Karma Kandara requires a 25% deposit of the total sum of the wedding. A second deposit of 25% is due 6 month prior to the wedding date. The remaining 50% payment for the wedding is required 14 days prior to your wedding date.
b) In the event the client wishes to change the function or wedding venue at a later stage, additional fees may apply and the new venue space will be subject to availability.
a) In case of a cancellation of the wedding arrangements up to 120 days prior to the wedding or function date at Karma Kandara, the client will forfeit the deposit and Karma Kandara will refund the total paid less the deposit sum back to the client. This however excludes any suppliers that have been booked in advance. The client agrees to cover all paid expenses that cannot be reimbursed. Bank transfer costs are at the client’s expense.
b) In case of cancellations of the wedding arrangements within 120-60 days prior to the wedding or function date at Karma Kandara, 50% of the paid deposit and anticipated revenue will be refunded to the client. Bank
transfer costs are at the client’s expense.
c) In case of cancellations of the wedding arrangements within 60 days prior to the wedding or function date at Karma Kandara, 100% of the anticipated revenue & total bill will be charged to the client.
d) Any reduction of the number of guests within 14 days prior to the wedding or function date will be charged to the client accordingly.
No refund of money is possible at this stage.
e) No changes can be made to decor, food, beverage, cakes, entertainment etc within 14 days prior to the wedding or function date.
f) All bank charges are at the client’s expense.
