It begins with asacred chanting by the monks, followed by the blessing of the bride and the groom by linking their heads with joined loops of Sai Mongkon, which signifies that although the individual identities of these two people are kept, their destinies are now linked. This is followed by the Head-Monk pouring blessed water over the heads of the bride and groom, which is then collected in a bowl of ornately arranged flowers. The guests of the bride and the groom also bless the couple on a water blessing altar. Ceremony : The package comprises of all decorations at your selected venue, such as flowers, set-up for incense and candles, sitting area for Monks, water blessing altar and decorated entrance arch. While ring exchange is not traditional for the Buddhist wedding, we will happily provide the required set-up should you wish to include this. Long drum and symbolic gifts procession : Long drum procession is a traditional Thai parade, performed regularly to celebrate the joyful moments and events in Thailand, especially for weddings starts. The musicians, drummers and dancers will be dressed in colorful Thai costume, moving through the resort to the bride’s room. The grooms, friends and relatives join the procession by carrying symbolic gifts. The bride and bridesmaids are then invited to join the parade to the wedding venue. A master of ceremonies will conduct a non-religious service, which can be adjusted according to the couple’s desires. Extra hours may be added at $150/hour. This package includes a two hour engagement photo session in Toronto. This package includes professional photo editing, online hosting in a private gallery and three fine art giclée prints. Payment is by Paypal or e-transfer, 50% at time of signup and the balance within 60 days of your wedding. A $150 retainer will hold your date and is part of your deposit amount. Addition services: 1. Second photographer ($450 for 8 hours with and additional $50 per hour after eight hours). 2. Albums and prints are extra and can be discussed at the time the wedding photography contract is signed. There is no pressure or obligation for these items. 3. Extra hours of coverage is $150/hour continuous.
