I mean, you really can’t plan a wedding without knowing what has to be done right? Having a planner create a custom checklist and schedule for you – and remind you when it’s time to get crackin’ on the next task – are pretty awesome. Besides, we have planned a wedding before, you probably haven’t. Budget - Yes, the dreaded word. We help you create and stick to your budget. And when you want something that just might be completely unfeasible, we will tell you instead of letting you get your hopes up or help you cut back on other costs that you can live without. Vendor Recommendations - Yes, the dreaded word. We help you create and stick to your budget. Hotel Room Block - Often when using a wedding planner a hotel will offer a 10% discount to reserve a block of rooms. Vendor Communication & Liason - This includes contacting vendors to find out availability, emailing, phone calls, texts, and most likely a meeting or two. We communicate with all of your wedding professionals (or just a select few – you decide) and just have him or her email you with updates, questions, concerns, etc. Oh, and let’s not forget the reminders that you’ll get from us about when it’s time to make a payment to one of your vendors. Wedding Design - Not sure exactly what your “theme” is or what colors look good together? Do you need help with flowers, linens or even invitations? Well, we help you figure things out when it comes to your wedding’s design. Whether it’s a specific idea or helping you pick out colors, we’ll be by your side to help guide you along with expert advice. Meetings & Consultations - We deal with scheduling your meetings. Sometimes it can take several emails or phone calls to figure out the right time and place for a meeting or consult to take place. That’s time- time that you might not have! Just give us a few days and times that work for you and we’ll make those meetings fit nicely into your schedule. Etiquette - We know you’re going to have a question about whether or not to invite so-and-so’s new girlfriend, dress code, or maybe even how much alcohol to serve. We know the etiquette for all things wedding. Sometimes “etiquette” things aren’t even etiquette anymore, and it’s just really what works best for you and your wedding, but sometimes there are still things that are considered “tacky” or not. RSVP Management - We are happy to keep track of your RSVPs for you. This is SUCH a tedious task- meals, seating, guest counts, etc. Just another thing that you don’t have to do! Reminders - Yes, reminders. Plain and simple. Because chances are you might forget about something– whether it’s big (like a DJ) or small (like menus), we’ll send you little reminders about things that could potentially be forgotten! Vendor Communication - The week before your wedding is going to be craziness. You do not want to deal with emails and phone calls back and forth with vendors to confirm times and places. We will handle that! Wedding Day Timeline - You absolutely always need to have a timeline for your wedding day. How else would you know what time to start getting ready, when to tell people to deliver things, etc.? Of course we will handle this for you, making tweaks and updating vendors as needed. Wedding Ceremony Coordination & Rehearsal - Sometimes a wedding ceremony can be absolute chaos. People think they know what to do, but when it comes down to it, they really don’t. We ensure that your ceremony runs smoothly and everyone involved knows what to do and where to go! Wedding Day Coordination - You definitely don’t want to be the one dealing with setting things up on your wedding day. Making sure the cake is delivered on time, the favors get placed at each place setting, and the centerpieces are just right. We put out your escort cards, make sure favors are at place settings, and set up your special cake-and-dessert display. We will sew your bustle when it breaks, give your dad a Tums for his upset stomach, or find your best man when he’s missing for toasts. We take care of the wedding details that we’re sure you will painstakingly and lovingly create for your wedding, making sure that they will be setup to meet your expectations. And then we take everything down at the end of the night and give it to your parents, the best man or whomever you’ve pre-selected. Just like you, we want everyone to enjoy themselves.

This package is 10% of your wedding budget. This is the full coordination package where we take all the wedding planning stress away and give you a wedding to remember. This package includes everything from Package I but goes even further. Here we walk through the entire wedding coordination. We help you with finding, meeting, and working with your vendors from the start. We will do the research for anything you are looking into and take the lead on all of the wedding planning.You get to enjoy the wedding planning process without any stress. 50% to be paid when contract is signed. No need to worry about your wedding day, we handle all of your day-of needs! Being your day of includes one pre-wedding meeting, attending your rehearsal, setting up your reception, coordinating vendors on the day, directing the ceremony. and most importantly, keeping everything on schedule. 50% of payment is due on contract signing and 50% is due on day of the event.

Violin/Guitar Duo Package This package includes transportation fees (events outside GVRD are subject to transportation fees), consultation and any selection of music you wish performed at your event; song requests in advance are not a problem and are encouraged. Please note, taxes are applicable.

This service is for the couple that has already completed most of the planning and is looking for final assistance in tying in all of the final details. This will consist of 2 meetings with an event coordinator\planner with in the last 4-5 weeks prior to the big day! We will assist the couple in collecting and reviewing all of the vendor contracts and create an itinerary highlighting important details to ensure a smooth transition from start to finish. Our team will be your voice the last week leading to the event and all vendors will maintain constant communication with your coordinator as the point of contact. Your coordinator\event planner will be there to guide you during the wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception.

Congratulations on your engagement -- thank you for your interest in the Wild Horse Inn! We are great at meeting budgets and can do any style of service you wish from a formal plated dinner to a casual buffet barbeque. Keep in mind that the price listed is just an average; each event is priced based on your party size. We have a beautiful ceremony site outdoors! It has great mountain views and is very proximal to the reception area. It easily can seat over 200, so can accommodate your group. When you book with us for a weekend wedding, we ask that you reserve the entire Inn for two nights for your guests. We have 7 lodge rooms and 3 cabins, which can accommodate a maximum of 26 people. Breakfast is included each day for those staying on site! The cost to rent the entire place for one night, including tax. Most of our bridal couples don't pay for all of the lodging for their guests, so this cost may not be on your tab completely. At the Inn, you may bring in your own alcohol - a HUGE cost savings to you! We provide the bartenders through the catering company and they set up, service and break down the bar for you. When you book with us, your site fee covers you for the whole weekend. Many brides and grooms plan their rehearsal dinner and/or day after brunch for their guests to be held at the Inn as well; this would also be under the same site fee. The cost for those events would just be the catering and any small rentals you might need. Also when you book with us we give you a list of preferred vendors, including disc jockeys, bands, florists, photographers, etc. We also give you a list of the best additional lodging in the area for overflow. Band Biography The Carpio Brothers Quartet featuring Bernard Carpio on Saxophone & Chris Carpio on Piano is an action packed ensemble not to be missed. Both growing up in Hong Kong, their musical education started under the guidance of their father, renowned Jazz Guitarist Tony Carpio and it wasn't long till the brothers began to make some noise in the local music scene. Our space can host up to 250 for a cocktail-type reception, and up to 120-150 for a sit-down dinner. We can seat about 200 for a ceremony. The cost for a wedding in our space is price+ HST plus a refundable damage deposit of $750. The rental includes the use of the upper level for the afternoon for set-up, and the whole building for the evening of the wedding. We also have a kitchen and take a 10% landmark fee on catering, however, we don't have any preferred caterers that we require you to use, and you are welcome to bring in your own non-catered food, subject to a kitchen use fee (cost depends on details of how the kitchen is used - whether just for prep and plating, or for cooking/ heating up food). We would require you to get a Special Occasion Permit to serve alcohol, as well as event insurance which is usually around $250 - please contact palcanada.com for a more precise insurance quote. We require Smart Serve certified bartenders for any events that include alcohol. We can provide staff for a rate of $25/hour, or you are welcome to bring your own servers (please let us know well in advance if you need our servers). We have tables and chairs for use included in the rental, although no linens or tableware, and you are welcome to bring in additional or different chairs and tables. Decoration, set-up and break-down (stacking chairs and folding tables) would be up to you, although we will have a staff person on hand to assist. Please note when planning for decorations that we don't allow nails in any wood elements, or candles (unless they are part of a supervised ceremony and are lit for only a short time). Our Great Hall has a cathedral ceiling with large beams that decorations or lights can be wrapped around, and there are a handful of existing hooks and nails already in the wood that you could use. We have a basic sound system comprised of a mixing board, microphones and two speakers, into which you can plug a laptop or iPod or other player, and we can accommodate additional equipment needed for a band or DJ. We have a computerized coloured light system which is an optional add-on and comes with a technician to run the lighting program. We also have a projection screen, and a podium. One note to keep in mind is that because our venue is within a residential area, we have a noise restriction after 11 pm. Live music would need to end, and any amplified music needs to be turned down after that time so that sound doesn't carry loudly outside the building, although it does not mean that the reception has to shut down. Also, a final note, because this is an older building it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The Great Hall is up a short flight of stairs, and the washrooms are on the lower level.
