Daily Itinerary

Day 1 San Jose welcome Arrive in San José where one of our representatives will meet you and show you to your private transfer. Overnight Hilton Garden Inn.

Day 2: Extreme Rafting Adventure
After breakfast one representative will pick you up in the lobby from the hotel and transfer to the adventure. The first day you will paddle 13kms (8 miles) of continuous class III whitewater for a total of 14 rapids. Rated one of the top rivers in the world, you’ll experience the intimate nature of the rainforest as you raft right through it. The warm water, cascading waterfalls, and opulently lush rainforest with its brilliantly colored plants, animals, and birds indulge your senses on every level. Then you will arrive at the lodge shortly past noon and just in time for lunch. From the eco lodge’s remote, riverside location, you can enjoy zip lining through the canopy, rainforest hikes with naturalist guides, self-guided walks to waterfalls and pools, relaxing in a hammock overlooking the beautiful Pacuare River, and bird watching. Dine in the open air with wine and exceptional meals, more stars than you can imagine, and the vibrant sounds of the jungle. Overnight Rios Tropicales Lodge. Meals: B-L-D

Day 3: Arenal
Savor an early morning cup of Costa Rican coffee and a hearty breakfast before enjoy class IV rapids on the Lower Pacuare. Snack stop to explore waterfalls and natural water slides. Two stops are made- one for a nice exploratory hike and the other to have lunch on the river. You will finish in Siquirres, where you can take a shower, enjoy the gardens and terrace before transferring to Arenal. Overnight Arenal Manoa. Meals: B-L

Day 4: Sky Limit – An Adrenaline Challenge

Day 7 : Back to San Jose¡¡¡ The Art of Craft Beer
Enjoy a one final swim in the ocean or walk on the beach before transferring to San Jose. ¡In the evening time to get into the heart of this San Jose beer tour! GENERAL TRIP EQUIPMENT The enclosed equipment list describes the specific items you will want to consider bringing. Keep in mind it is a tropical environment and will generally be warm.
FOOTWEAR: the best hiking is lightweight trekking shoes with traction and mid high ankle support. Bring an extra pair of lightweight dry shoes or sandals to change into after the day`s hike. Sports sandals (that securely strap on such as the teva brand), are comfortable footwear anywhere on the coast, and around your lodge.
HEADWEAR: A light hat with a wide brim, including protection for the back of the neck is best. A tie under the chin is advisable to prevent possible loss due to wind on boats.
COLD TEMPERATURE AND RAIN GEAR: A lightweight rain coat or poncho is very useful. A light to medium-weight jacket, sweater or synthetic fleece garment is necessary for cool nights at high elevations such as Savegre Valley highlands.
FLASHLIGHTS: Flashlights are important for getting around the more remote lodges at night as they do not have electrical power 24 hours a day.
DAYPACK: A good quality day pack is necessary to carry thinks like your water bottle, camera, binoculars, snack food, fields’ guides and rain jacket.
