Officiating a wedding ceremony
This is Your day, and the ceremony that I write will be based on the information that you give me at our initial discussion (allow at least an hour for our meeting!), and on subsequent emails. I will guide you through the process of creating your ceremony, and you will be involved as much or as little as you wish. I have done this Way more times than you have ;-) and I bring my years of experience creating All Sorts of ceremonies to the table. Since 2009 I have performed over 200 ceremonies, ranging from “quickies”, which actually fit on an index card, to traditional religious services on a pretty grand scale, for couples with 30 person wedding parties and as many as 350 guests. As an Interfaith Minister as well as a Justice of the Peace, it's my job - and my pleasure! - to do All Sorts of weddings and other services, so what ever sort of ceremony will make you happy, That’s what we’ll make happen! Most of the time I will rehearse you and your wedding party on or about the day before the cremony, though at times this is unneccessary. Additionally, if you would like, I can say a blessing at the beginning of your wedding meal. I ask a $50 downpayment, to hold your date on my calendar. Please note: for my fee, I ask that each couple pay me what they feel my services are worth To Them. When I know the scale of your ceremony (based on several Subjective factors), I can tell you what I have been paid in the past for similar ceremonies, if you would like a range. I am based in Brookfield CT, and while I prefer to work within a half-hour ride from home, I will happily discuss traveling for your wedding. So far, my most distant ceremony was in Hawaii!

Final guest count will be required 7 days prior to event in order to place orders for food and to secure the staff. Once the minimum number is set, the client may increase the guest count, but not reduce. Any event on deposit that is canceled prior to 7 days of the event will result in a $100 administrative fee. The balance of the deposit, minus $100, will be refunded. Any event canceled within 7 days of the event will not be refunded the original 50% deposit. The final bill payment is required 7 days prior to event. Any additions for a remaining balance in between 7th day and event will be paid in full at that time. First proposal, second proposal, and corresponding bill estimates are complementary. Additional proposals, meetings, and phone calls may be pro-rated at a charge of $65/hr. The menu and number of staff for this event is based on the number of guests at the time of your deposit. If the guest count increases or decreases significantly, a price adjustment may be made to the menu and the number of staff may need to vary to ensure proper service. If the client’s serving ware, glassware, or china is used for the event, Valencia is not responsible for the replacement of any items damaged in the course of normal use and washing. Valencia does not provide any serving pieces. Rentals are the sole responsibility of the client. All rental charges will be paid directly to the rental company. We will be happy to assist in making rental choices and suggestions once a deposit is taken. Food Truck hires: Food Truck will provide boats for service and plastic wares catered off the truck. It is the clients decsion to provide alternate plates and wares. Rain Dates for Food Truck will be rescheduled at the availabilty of the Food Truck. Options for days will be provided to the client. Alternate option of a drop and set or catering staff can be arranged if a rain date is not possible. Decisions on a rain date would need to be decided upon within 2 days prior to event.

Ceremony and reception wedding music

Our basic package includes a performance during the ceremony, including but not limited to Processional, Recessional, Meditations, etc. We will also perform sets of about 2 hours at cocktail receptions. We are very flexible and prefer to plan an event directly with the bride and groom. In the past, our clients have requested specific songs for The price listed above depends on details of the event. 1 hour ceremony music- violin/flute & guitar
Includes music for the Prelude, Processional and Recessional. Includes one of the following services complementary: (1) Up to two free song arrangements, (2) Free cocktail hour (for an engagement totaling 90 minutes or less), (3) Travel fee waiver up 60 minutes or (4) Free Battery-Powered amplifier rental. One hour max.
3-4 hours of music show
Green Eyed Lady (band) All Rock & Soul Hits Green Eyed Lady does 3 to 4 hour shows! The performance consist of 2 to 3 45 minutes sets or two long sets. Green Eyed Lady can also tailor the sets to your specific needs. Green Eyed Lady will provide sound system and lights as well as provide music through the sound system on band breaks. Payment carries on traveling expenses and length of performance. Please contact us for special pricing.
Wedding venue for 150 guests — price for Friday-Sunday
Farm property for weddings are traditionally booked Friday-Sunday. Other options may be available, please feel free to share your ideas as we are happy to work with you in making this the perfect day. Pricing calculations are for Weddings that include a maximum of 150 guests ($10.00 per additional guest over 150) Prices effective 09/18/2015 and are subject to change. (Setup access Friday 2pm, breakdown access until 11:30pm Saturday or 1pm Sunday.
