They play up to 2 hours for an additional but if you're on a budget, we can do this part with a duo or soloist. If there is no budget for this aspect all, you can always use our PA to play iPod music for no extra charge, (providing our sound system is in earshot of these locations). Reception dance band performance

$3,500
Price stated is "start from" The 6-piece (sans horns). The regular 8-piece dance band for receptions is $4,000 for two hours. Both these packages include a professional sound system. Includes: 16 Channel Allen & Heath Mixing station, 6 Monitor sends, all JBL or QSC main speakers. This includes a professional sound engineer. Further info here, if you like: SOUND MATTERS! No Band on the South Coast will provide the same quality sound system as AREA 51! WHY DOES THIS MATTER? It doesn’t matter how well your musicians are playing if it doesn’t sound good. To the untrained ear, this will simply mean that your event won’t “feel” good. Cheap, old, underpowered systems often sound “muddy”, or “dark”. Most bands just turn it up to compensate for this and tend to play too loud. Area 51’s sound system sounds full, clean and bright which allows our audiences to hear how great the music is which results in feelings of joy and satisfaction, and it looks good too! For booking, contact Michael Andrews. Terms and conditions: There will be a $500 - $1,000 deposit (payable by check or by CC) on signing a contract and the balance will be due 10 days prior to the event. Retainer is non-refundable but may be applied to a future engagement if scheduled within 6 months of the original event date.
