The Chappell Hill Historical Society has been preserving historic structures in Chappell Hill since 1964. Our beautifully restored Providence Baptist Church makes a lovely location for simple and elegant country weddings. The 1920s auditorium at the museum is an ideal location for receptions, with charming pressed tin ceilings and hand painted stage curtains. Our Rock Store with hand-appliqued wall hangings is also an ideal location for a catered rehearsal dinner, and is located conveniently a couple blocks from the church.
