Secret Genius is an exciting Milton Keynes based contemporary covers band with a bit of edge and attitude and plays for weddings, private functions, parties etc.
Formed in 2007, we play an energetic set of covers ranging from classic rock and pop through to a wide variety of contemporary styles from the 1980's, 1990’s, Noughties and up to the current charts and give them our own high energy treatment.
The band is fronted by Claire, a talented singer with a fantastic and unique voice and a wild sense of dress, often blending punk with rock chic in her own very funky style.
Jamie, our drummer, shares some of the vocals and keeps the party on its feet dancing.
Our two extremely talented guitarists Nick and Richard share the honours on lead and rhythm guitar between them, blending classic rock and pop standards with a varied mixture of contemporary material from the recent and current charts, with something to suit most ages groups and musical preferences.
Nick (The Bass) plays Bass and keeps the bottom end solid.
Our diverse set of songs includes numbers from very different genres, including:- Adele, Megan Trainor, Pink, Paramore, Free, Wheatus, The Kinks, Gotye, The Killers, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Foo Fighters, McFly, Rihanna, Lourde, The Hives, One Republic, The Eagles, Greenday, Ting Tings, and many more.
