The universe is not made of atoms; it’s made of tiny stories. And each of these stories are made of love, laughter and happily ever after. We are about to tell you one suchscintillating royal wedding story which is no less than a fairytale. It’san event of glitz, glamour, celebrities and everything larger than life.
Ashka and Paarth have known each other from school and have been together for a decade. Paarth s avant-garde proposal in Las Vegas in front of Bellagio fountain was well coordinated with a hired flashmob. “To take this a notch higher we wanted a wedding team which was always enthusiastic and came up with so many great ideas for the wedding, that s how we signed on F5 Weddings”, says the gorgeous bride.
And when you want a fairy tale wedding there is just one absolute favourite destination- Udaipur, and that s where our fierce and vivacious couple Ashka and Paarth settled on to sanctify their wedding vows. Udaipur-the land of kings and queen, royal palaces, picturesque lakes and gleaming sand dunes - it’s the romance and beauty of this place that makes it an ideal wedding destination. Ashka and Paarth’s wedding was not just unconventional in its venue but also in the amount of fun during the ceremonies.
The festivities fired up with the Mehendi evening which was themed “Ram Leela”. Traditional Gujarati/Rajasthani was the dress code with glittery ghaghras and bandhni safaas. . The couple drove in together in an auto rickshaw which was adorned with marigolds and some iconic movie dialogue placards. Wearing a red and gold lehenga with aviators, the bride literally lived up to the theme. With cold pyros shooting out of the vehicle, they made the most amazing entry on a rickshaw, firing faux guns on the tunes of Bhai Bhai from the movie. There were plenty of activity stalls to keep guests engaged like fortune reader, DIY jewellery, palm reader and parrot fortune reader. A real life bike was parked by as photo booth. There were lots of performances by the couple, family and their friends.
And the best is yet to follow. Second day saw Firangi Fiesta. This was the most fun function of the wedding. An informal carnival with exotic dances like Salsa and Bachata and plenty of gameslike ring toss, knock the cans and balloon shooting made sure the guests were having a good time. Drinks served in fruits were such a highlight! Salsa dancers were seen teaching guests to dance. A Massive dance floor was created in the centre of the venue. The Emcee kept all the guests on their feet. Stacks of live counter s were put up serving flavoured popcorn, popsicles and candy floss. Live size foosball was created which was a huge hit. Life size LOVE was written for a Photo OP. A lot of fun props and shoutouts were used.
The second evening witnessed The Sangeet Soiree. Theevent was all about enjoying the beauty of Zanana Mahal. The couple entered to the song of Shandaar and cold pyros. The theme was Fairytale Affair and all guests were dressed in Indo-Western attire. Super singer Sonu Nigam got the house down with his popular chartbusters and kept the guests grooving till the wee hours of the night.
The pheras was a traditional affair and it was solemnised in none other than Jagmandir.Itsaw one of the most dramatic baraat entry– by boat on the still waters of lake Pichola. This particular event is most cherishable – Jagmandir itself was transformed into a larger than life venue. The bride had a very spectacular entry too as she walked in with her father along with her bridesmaids who were all dressed in peach.
Evening reception was a sit down dinner with a few emotional speeches from family and friends. Fireworks illuminate the night sky over a crowd of guests. The first dance was initiated by our romantic couple which was followed by several dances by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. This evening was definitely star studded with the presence of the King of Mewad and Bollywood celebrities like Rakesh Roshan, Shekhar Suman, Inder Kumar, Jeetandra , Shailesh Lodha, Shaan , Sanjay Leela Bhansali , Abbas Mastan and many more.
