Once home to the wealthy ‘Smythes of Bristol’, Ashton Court Mansion sits proudly on the edge of 860 acres of glorious undulating parkland. Protected by a sweep of high ground, the estate is only a short distance from the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and a five minute drive from the city’s vibrant and cosmopolitan city centre.

The Mansion is licensed for marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships, and available for wedding breakfasts and evening parties.

The Music Room offers space for 70 to 160 guests for a ceremony and dinner, and up to 300 guests for an evening party. The Panelled Lounges, a pretty Georgian suite, hold 30 to 90 guests for dinner and up to 100 for and evening party. Both suites of rooms overlook the meticulously tended sunny South Lawn and offer far reaching views towards Bristol’s vibrant and cosmopolitan city centre.

The Winter Garden Bar and Vaulted Hall adjoin the Music Room and offer direct access to the lawns and provide a wonderful backdrop for a drinks reception and wedding photographs.

Ashton Court Mansion has a reputation for great quality food and superb service, all of our food is prepared and cooked on-site, offering flexibility and personal choice wherever possible.
