Bandit's Ridge Package Our venue accommodates a maximum of 150 guests from April - December, with the exception of July being closed. You will have access for 10 hours the day of your event. Our package includes: 1. set-up/clean-up by our staff 2. rustic benches for the ceremony (seating for 150 guests) 3. arbor for the ceremony 4. 6 Farmhouse tables with padded chairs to match (seating for 50 guests) 5. Whiskey Bar Tables (35 guests to stand & eat around) 6. 2 portable flushing toilet 7. bridal suite (family room, full bedroom & bath, kitchen) 8. trash removal 9. ice for beer & wine We do require you to purchase a General Liability One Day Event policy which totals around $175. Beer & wine can be served but no liquor. We do allow outside catering as well.

The Must Have package focuses on two weeks prior to your wedding day (plus three personal meetings held at your discretion) and includes professional consulting and coordinating in addition to rehearsal and day of directing. Assist with vendor referrals, saving you time and saving you money; Three personal consultations: (up to 6 hours) *Get to Know You personal consultation (up to 2 hours); Two additional personal consultations (up to 2 hours each). Suggested uses are: Ceremony and/or Reception site walk-through (scheduled any time after booking services); Wrap-up consultation (few days prior to wedding); Review vendor contracts for the fine print (non-legal advice); Coordinate/direct rehearsal, ceremony and reception, including: Assist guests with questions and directions as needed; Choreograph the wedding party ceremony processional/recessional, cue ceremony musicians; Choreograph reception introductions, dances, cake cutting, toasts, departure, cue band, DJ or other musicians; Prepare/distribute detailed timeline to vendors and wedding party; Two weeks prior to wedding, contact each vendor selected, confirm time, date of arrival; Two weeks prior to wedding, contact / assist dependable helpers (friends, family, volunteers) that you arranged for ceremony and reception venue set-up and break-down of personal and DIY items; *Weddings with a significant amount of DIY items or set-up / break-down require dependable helpers (friends/family that you arranged) - or - the purchase of additional set-up / break-down services from That Wedding.* Confirm deliveries to venues of ceremony/reception sites; Ensure proper post reception clean - up and safe return of personal decor, gift cards and other items; Provide Emergency Kit the day of the ceremony and reception; Distribute bouquets, pin corsages and boutonnières; Distribute Final Payments to Vendors; Up to 2 hours on-site coordination night of rehearsal; Up to 10 hours on-site coordination the day of the ceremony/reception; Up to 10 hours on-site assistant the day of the ceremony/reception; Additional time may be purchased at an hourly rate of $40. Travel expenses apply to weddings outside a 50 mile radius of Roanoke, VA and when overnight stays are necessary.

Our day of wedding service package includes: TWO planning meetings: first upon booking to review plans, give advice and checklist items, and second at least a month before wedding to develop itinerary for the day.) Itinerary development and vendor contact. Consultant attendance at wedding rehearsal (up to 2 hours). Day of" services for ceremony and reception (up to 10 hours). Reminder checklist for all items to be retrieved following reception.

Price for the first 4 hours and $50 each hour after that and this includes lights and announcements. Payments can be paid via pay pal or check.

A session includes the session and online proofing. A 50% retainer is required to book a session date and the rest is due the date before the session. This can be done via e-check or credit card with our online invoicing system. Each session takes between 45-90 minutes and is shot completely on film. Additional images and electronic files may be purchased separately.

Package is a full day shoot. Including prep, ceremony, after ceremony portraits, and reception. All photos are provided on a DVD or flash drive. Same day delivery is available as well as second shooter.

Our wedding service will make your day a “Cinderella story” event when a white convertible carriage pulled by a team of matched horses arrives to take you to your wedding, or to whisk you away for a romantic newlywed ride together before taking you to your reception. Here are a few of the details designed to make your wedding even more memorable: Drivers wear tuxedos with tails, while the horses don bells for the occasion The carriage is decorated with white bows and flowers, although we also welcome your own personal touches if you prefer to provide alternate decorations A “Just Married” sign on the back of the carriage will announce to all that it is your day! Carriage rental fee includes two hours of on-site service and up to 25 miles outside of Lexington. Additional mileage fees are $2.50/mile, one-way, and additional hours needed beyond the two included are $175/hr. A deposit of $275 is required at booking, with the final payment due 10 days before the scheduled event.

Portrait sessions pricing for engagements and couples: priceper one-hour session. The all-inclusive portrait session fee includes photographer’s time and talent, up to 15 miles* of travel and post session editing. All packages include an in-person viewing session, so you can choose the images that make your heart happy to have printed as high quality wall art. All sessions include 25-35 edited/enhanced images on a CD, personalized client print release (up to 8×10), and online viewing gallery. You can also see our video at Mayhurst has hosted 124 weddings (including Rehearsal Dinners, Ceremonies and Receptions) ranging from 10 to 300 people. We have multiple venues on Mayhurst for virtually any size, or type, of ceremony and reception. Normally the bride and groom, or the bride’s family, lease the entire Mayhurst Plantation (37 acres), the Manor House (9000 Sq Ft), including all 8 guest rooms and common areas, for their rehearsal dinner and/or ceremony and reception, from 2:00 PM Friday to 12:00 Noon Sunday. Brides and Grooms normally have family and bridal party stay at Mayhurst for the two nights. Our prices include a Site Fee, starting at $1500.00 ($1579.50 including all taxes), plus the cost of all the rooms ($3267.93 including all taxes) on Friday and Saturday. With 8 guest rooms/suites we can accommodate up to 20 people for overnight stays. Some Brides, or their families, have some or most members of the wedding party that are staying at Mayhurst pay for their own room, which obviously lowers the cost for you. If you are planning on having guests and/or members of the wedding party who are from out of town, then they will have to have lodging somewhere and you will find that our room costs for 16 room nights (Friday and Saturday) is comparable with nearby hotels and other B&Bs. The "weekend" option also provides you with the opportunity to use Mayhurst as your base and to spend more time with the members of the wedding party and family who are either staying at Mayhurst or at other local B&Bs or hotels. Additionally, because you have Mayhurst for the entire weekend, there are no time constraints on how long the "parties" last on Friday and Saturday nights. A full breakfast, for all those staying at Mayhurst, is served both Saturday and Sunday morning and is included in the room cost. All meals/events at Mayhurst (except Breakfast) are catered – either by professional caterers or your family and friends. Caterers usually use our kitchen, which has 3 ovens, 6 surface burners, 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer and extensive counter space, for final prep and warming - not for the entire preparation of the meal(s). We provide the Brides and Grooms who book their wedding and reception with us with a wedding planning document that includes helpful hints, ways to reduce costs, contacts that may be useful, and a list of recommended caterers and all other vendors you might need, including; cakes, tents, tables, chairs, china, glassware and linens, florists, musicians and DJs, photographers, horse and carriage providers, other places for guests to stay (10 other B&Bs and 2 Motels all within 15 miles of Mayhurst), and much more. While you may use any caterer or any other vendor that you want, our list consists of only those vendors who have successfully participated in at least two weddings or events at Mayhurst. In many cases the Bride and Groom have Mayhurst do the coordination and/or contracting with many of the vendors you might need - e.g., Tent, Lights, Tables, Chairs, China, Silverware, Glassware, Linens, etc., while the bride concentrates on vendors like caterers, musicians, florists, and photographers. There is no additional charge for this coordination, nor do we get "kickbacks" from any vendor. The best price they offer us is what you get. We can, of course, put together any type of package you want, but would need to talk to you about your specific requirements. Without knowing a great many details about your plans it is virtually impossible to give you an estimated price for either a Rehearsal Dinner or Reception since seemingly simple things like choice of flowers, photographer, DJ or band, china, tables, chair type, linens, center pieces, tent, lighting etc. can vary the price significantly. Additionally, the number of guests, the type, quantity and variety of food and service options for Rehearsal Dinners and/or Receptions are almost unlimited. You should note however, that the quality of catering and other vendor services in and around Orange is equal to, or better than, similar services found in Northern Virginia, the Richmond area, or Charlottesville, while the cost is significantly less. The best way for you to determine if Mayhurst meets your needs for your special day is to visit Mayhurst. The best time to visit us would be between 12:00 AM and 4:00 PM so that we could spend time with you and so you could view some guest rooms and our property.
