DAY 01: ARRIVAL HUE (-/-/-) You will land at Phu Bai International Airport. DAY 02: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L/-) After have breakfast, car driver and guide pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the boat station. You visit Rock Pile Hill, one of the US military base, was used as a watchtower to observe the activities of the Vietnam People’s Army in the demilitarized zone in Quang Tri Province from 1966 to 1968. Then you stop to visit Dakrong bridge. Dakrong Bridge is midway along Highway 9, and is the starting point of Highway 15, one of the main branches of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which leads south to the A Shau valley and the infamous “Hamburger Hill”. Though not entirely legitimate, there is a monument commemorating it as a point on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Continue the trip to visit Khe Sanh combat base, a large Marine base camp attacked by a massive forces of the North Vietnamese Army in early 1968. You have lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Ha town. Then you visit Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, the river that was the only true demarcation line between the North and South of Vietnam after the Geneva agreement and Vinh Moc Tunnel - where is famous as an underground village constructed to avoid bombardments during the American War. You come back Hue city, you can relax in the hotel or explore Hue nightlife by cyclo or enjoy Hue specialties. DAY 04: HUE - HA NOI (B/-/-) After have breakfast, car driver will pick up in your hotel go to Phu Bai Airport, depart from Hue to Ha Noi. You are free have lunch and take a short time to relax. Afternoon Hanoi tour starts visiting the Temple of Literature (or you might choose one of the museums in Hanoi – Hilton Hanoi, Military museum, Museum of History, Ethnology museum..), then move to the West Lake and pay a visit to the oldest pagoda Tran Quoc. Continue drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter, visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house. You can relax in your hotel or walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake. DAY 05: SAPA - HAM RONG (B/L/D) Our car and tourguide will pick you up in the hotel, depart from Ha Noi to Lao Cai. Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel, have lunch. You will begin the trek up Ham Rong Mountain. There are several well tended flower gardens along the way. Going through two Heaven Gates, you will get the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Up here, you will have a sensational specticular view of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, including Vietnam’s highest peak Mount Fanxipan. This is an enjoyable outing, but it’s not the north face of Everest so you will go down in time for dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight at hotel in Sapa. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market which is one of unique cultures of ethnic minorities HMong, Dazo in Lao Cai in particular and North West of Vietnam in general. DAY 06: CAT CAT - HA NOI (B/L/-) After breakfast, you will start trekking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Coming here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. After that, you will go back to hotel to check out and be on time for lunch.Then you free time to explore Sapa town or go shopping at Sapa Market. It‘s time to say “Good bye Sa Pa!” and drive back to Hanoi. After check in the Ha Noi hotel for overnight stay, you free have dinner and relax in the hotel. DAY 07: HA NOI - HA LONG - HA NOI (B/L/-) The bus and tour guide will pick up in your hotel, leave Ha Noi for Ha Long bay. Stop on the way to take a short break ( 20 minutes) for refreshments and shopping. You will be picked up at your hotel and then driven to Ha Long Bay. You’ll have a short break on the half way before arriving Halong tourist wharf. You will board a private boat and cruise through the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Cock Fighting - the islet is situated on the south - west side of Ha Long Bay, about 6 km from the tourist wharf near to Ðinh Huong Islet. In a somewhat huge expanse of the ocean, the island seems to grow up from the bottom of the deep emerald waters. Dinh Huong Islet comprises only one huge stone. When the tide is low, tourists can see its four pins underneath. The islet is in the shape of an incense burner in the middle of the sea. In the majestic setting of sea and islands, Dinh Huong Islet seems like a holy symbol dedicated to national heroes who died to protect the country. You will also visit Thien Cung Cave and Dau Go Cave. A visit to Thien Cung starts from the crowded dock area where wooden walkways lead to steep stairs going up to the mouth of the cave - just a short walk. The interior is a cavernous space, with hokey circus lighting, lots of big rock formations, and the usual interpretive names. Taking around 30 - 45 minutes kayaking around the islands and water tunnels to feel more deeply the charm of the place that considered the heaven on earth. You will return to Halong tourist wharf and take the bus back to Hanoi. Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel. DAY 08: HA NOI - NINH BINH - HA NOI (B/L/-) After have breakfast in hotel, you go to Ninh Binh province. After arriving in Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple. In the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars. After that, we go to Tam Coc. You will have lunch at a nice restaurant before boarding a small boat to visit Tam Coc, meaning literally, “Three Caves”. With Ha Long type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong. Then, you come back to Ha Noi. Coming to Cham Island, visit Bai Lang, including Au Thuyen, Tay Tang pagoda and Bai Lang fishing village, visit Tan Hiep Market and shopping. Continue to a lagoon to take scenic pictures of the local fishermen and farmers before arriving in the city of Hue at approximately. After check in the hotel in Hue city, you are relax in the hotel. You go boat station to embark boat for cruise along the poetic Perfume River. Hue boat trip takes about 4 hours. On the way, stop to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang - a catholic church formerly built in the forest near Quang Tri up from the old DMZ. Later, several buildings of La Vang were rebuilt and destroyed during the war between the North and the South Vietnam. Have lunch in Dong Hoi. After that, take a boat trip along Son River to explore the Phong Nha Cave. Among 300 caves and grottos in Phong Nha Ke Bang national park, only 20 have been surveyed. Notably, Phong Nha, is the most beautiful cave which holds several records for the highest and longest cave, the longest underground river, finest beaches inside and the most splendid stalagmites and stalactites. After lunch, you head northwest to Cu Chi Tunnel, one of the very few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerrillas during the conflicts, are beneath the ground in Cu Chi. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was a base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the War was. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in late afternoon. Free time in the evening and overnight at your hotel DAY 05: HO CHI MINH - CAI BE - VINH LONG (B/L/D) Pick up at your hotel & start to Mekong delta tour. Arrive in Cai Be, you will board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market and spend time there for an interaction that you’ll see nowhere else in the world. Then on foot to reach a coconut candy, a crispy rice cake and you might buy coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta for souvenir. When you feel its enough for the serenity, let’s get back to the large motor boat for something different in An Binh Island. It is well-known fresh fruits whole year. DAY 06: NINH KIEU - CAI RANG - HO CHI MINH (B/L/-) After breakfast, you board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape - Cai Rang floating market. This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you will have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City. After that, you continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot to reach a noodle and a rice paper factories. The next stop is a rice processing factory where youll learn the many steps that transform "rice with a brown cover" to the delicious and beautiful rice grain that you consume daily. The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let’s go back to Can Tho for that. You end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by bus, well have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs. After check in your hotel for overnight stay, you are free time in the evening DAY 07: HO CHI MINH - MUI NE (B/L/D) In the morning, driver car and tour guide will come to your hotel to depart to Mui Ne beach, where is about 120km from Ho Chi Minh City. Discover the magnificent neo-Romanesque architecture as you take in the tranquil atmosphere inside. At the opposite is Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, learn about this significant landmark — the busiest post office in Vietnam. Admire the neoclassical-style of the post office interior as your guide points out the painted maps of former Saigon, once the capital of South Vietnam. Before heading back to Saigon, you visit a nearby house of local people, then walking through their mango gardens and tasting fresh mangoes. Finally, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city and free time in the evening Day 05: Cao Dai temple – Cu Chi tunnel (B/L/-) Driver and tour guide pick you up then start from Ho Chi Minh City to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 95 kms South East of Ho Chi Minh City, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is like a Walt Disney of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side. Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavour to western palates! After have a lunch, you will leave Tay Ninh and travel to Cu Chi Tunnel. Once in Vietnam, you must visit this spot. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Day 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY 09h15 Our private car and English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Gia Lam Heliport. 10h15 Board charter helicopter for a 45 minutes flight to Halong Bay, you enjoy the chance to see Halong Bay from the sky in 5 minutes before landing. 11h00: Landing on Halong Heliport on General Giap Hill. Transfer to Tuan Chau Island. Time at leisure at Paradise Café. 12h30: Welcome Drink – cruise briefing, safety instructions, check-in cabins. Typically, Ehrin (and a second photographer if you choose to have two) will start documenting your day from the very beginning and will stay until the end. After the ceremony, we will normally do a series of group shots of all the family members and then do a series of wedding portrait images with just the bride and groom in their attire. For most of the day we will be with you to document everything that happens while at the same time grabbing special moments between your family and friends, getting details of the wedding that you spent months picking out and capturing an overall sense of the day. How do you normally work? Ehrin’s style is purely a documentary one and will work quietly in the background as your day unfolds. For the group photos, Ehrin will help guide everyone on where to stand ect. For the portrait session with the bride and groom, Ehrin will help guide you as well, but ideally he would like you to relax and just enjoy moment with your partner and let him capture these these real moments and feelings at this time. He always finds that if couples let their guard down and just focus on the moment that this is where you can get really amazing images that really couldn’t be setup. Can you give us any tips to get the best images of our wedding day? Please don’t forget to give Ehrin at least 30-60 min to do a bride and groom portrait session after the ceremony. If it is at all possible, try to have the wedding ceremony end around 3:30-4:15PM so that there is some light left in the day for the group photos and bride and groom portraits. If you have large group of people then you will need to make a compromise on what you would like, a variety of group shots or nice collection of intimate bride and groom portraits.Sometimes people forget and regret it later as it will be dark and will limit on what can be captured. If this does happen, do not be worried we will still be able to get some amazing images. If there are 2 photographers, then the 2nd photographer will be able to take the group photos while Ehrin works with you on the bride and groom Portrait session. Besides that, just have a great time and enjoy your day! What can we expect to receive? Usually you can expect to receive anywhere between 500 to 1000 edited images depending on the number of photographers you choose and how long the day is. These images will be edited by Ehrin and will be in either color or black and white. We will post your images in a Dropbox folder for you to download in print and web resolution so that you can share them with your family and friends easily.
