I officiate at interfaith ceremonies, same sex ceremonies, renewal of vows, and will co-officiate with other clergy. I meet with couples and we discuss their wedding plans. I give them materials to create their special ceremony. I also have a social work background and offer pre-maritial counseling. I will meet with couples several times prior to their ceremony to get to know them better and do pre-marital work with them. I am always available by e-mail and phone for any questions they may have. I do this a lot you do this ONCE! At our first complimentary meeting we will discuss your ceremony and decide if we want to work together. If we work together I will send you a contract that is due back within ten business days to hold your date.

A great choice for the couple on a budget who want a small, intimate ceremony in suburban park setting with free parking and an indoor venue option. Heritage Park is a lovely little park owned by the City of Chattanooga and located at 1428 Jenkins Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 in the East Brainerd community. With a creek running through it, the park features a gazebo (which can be used for free on a first-come-first-serve basis or reserved by the couple for a small fee), a charming covered bridge, and many nice tree-lined spots, perfect for weddings of up to 15 guests. In addition (especially for larger, more formal weddings, or in the colder months for warmth), we highly recommend the Heritage House which can be booked by calling (423) 855-9474. We require prepayment for our wedding officiant services, and recommend you book us as far in advance as possible, to ensure our availability for your wedding date.

It includes at least one 60-90 minute conversation either in person or via phone/Skype/Hangout/Facetime - or your personal preference in Telephony. It doesn't automatically include the rehearsal, though that's something we can absolutely negotiate. During our collaboration, we'll discuss your relationship, your ideas for the ceremony, readings, and other ritual elements. You might well go away from our chat with some homework around additional information to send me. About 7-10 days before your wedding, I'll send you a first draft, which you can edit to your heart's desire. We'll keep tossing it back and forth until you have exactly the ceremony you want. Generally, I get it in one shot, or one and a couple tweaks. That's not to blow my own horn so much as to reassure you that it's not a complicated process. In fact, my primary goal is to make the ceremony the least stressful part of the whole Marital Process. To reserve your date, you can make a $100 non-refundable deposit. The balance is due the day of the ceremony, and it's often easiest to put the check in the same envelope with the marriage license and designate a responsible person to hand it to me when I arrive. That way I don't have to go chasing you down for it afterwards.
