Everest Base Camp Trekking has been a popular destination for trekkers since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953. To reach this part of the Himalaya within a limited time, we have devised this two-week trek to Everest Base Camp which runs directly to and from Lukla.
Outline Itinerary (Day to Day Itinerary)
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2652m) 3 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 04: Acclimatization, hike to Everest view hotel (3900m) 3 - 4 hours.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860m) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4410m) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 07: Hiking to Chhukung RI and back to Dingboche (5546m) 7 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4910m) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 09: Trek to Gorekshep (5180m) 3 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 10: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5400m) return Gorekshep (5180m) 7 hours.
Day 11: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m) - Gorekshep - Pheriche (4210m) 7 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Khumjung (3900m) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 13: Trek to Jorsale (2740m) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 14: Trek to Lukla (2800m) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu (1337m) 30 min. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Final Departure to your onward destination.
