There can be up to 10 or more vendors participating on your wedding day. Somebody needs to be available to greet and direct them on the wedding day, and that person should not have to be you. And having a friend or family act as coordinator on the wedding day can be risky. They could miss an important detail or not know how to handle problems that arise. And that is where we come in. We are experienced in coordinating with vendors, following a timeline, and come to every wedding with an emergency kit and plan B, ready to resolve anything that comes up on the wedding day. Do I need a wedding coordinator if the venue has a coordinator? Yes, the venue coordinator is only there to make sure the venue provides the facility and catering services as listed on your contract with them. They are not there to plan out or coordinate the events of your wedding day, only the parts that involve them. And they will not have an emergency kit or back-up plan. We do all those things, plus more. Is this a “Day-Of” coordination package? No, this package would be considered a “Month-Of” coordination package. We do not believe we could provide the quality of service we do with a “Day-Of” package. It is not possible for us to ensure a seamless wedding day or anticipate any problems or issues, by just showing up on the wedding day with a timeline. We coordinate the details your vendors ahead of time, ensuring everyone is on the same page on the wedding day. This also allows time to make adjustments to accommodate the needs of your vendors and to plan ahead for any problems that could arise. This is the best way to sure the best wedding day possible.
