Marco D’Auria, company Director of MD Ice’s has been born into an ice cream family, branching off on his own and forming the company in 2009.

His father Mario D’Auria has been in the business since 1967 and first started trading under the name of Robertino’s This name came from an Italian comedy series that he used to enjoy watching. Robertino’s changed to D & B Ice’s when Mario and his 4 brothers united together to expand the business significantly, the business is still trading today in Bounds Green North London under the name of D’Auria Bros.

Growing up situated around his father’s ice cream business, Marco has gained a lot of experience from a young age and with this experience Marco has expanded his business significantly. MD Ice’s began with one van in 2009. The fleet has since grown to ten vans including the recent purchase of a brand new Mercedes Ice cream van, bought in March 2013.

MD Ice’s has been awarded a 5 star rating by South Bucks council for food hygiene dated 9th May 2012.
