Kumpania Algazarra were born in 2004, with the streets of Sintra, Portugal, as their cradle and the rest of the world as place to gather new acknowledgements. In their backpack they bring more than a decade of musical experience playing together with many roads travelled and many venues with people climbing up the walls! Their gypsy style mixed with the Balkan rhythms and melodies meets the tropical heat, oriental balance, dance beats and hip-hop beats ignites the passion to dance and enjoy life in people. Their music represents Kumpania Algazarra’s travels around the world, the different impressions and sound’s (re)interpretations inspired by different scenarios of those trips.
